- February 15, 2017

With summer on the horizon, we’re going to seeing more and more events popping up around Regina. The season will be getting officially under way on June 21; if you’re visiting the city during the first couple of weeks, then you’ll have three great events to enjoy during your trip. We have a classic western band at the performing arts centre, a new play at The Globa Theatre, and a Canada Day morning event. Sounds fun? Check out the details below.
Fine western music
Love your music loud and western? Then don’t miss the Sons of the Pioneers, who will be bringing their classic sound to the Regina Performing Arts Centre on June 26. There’ll be performing a mix of original songs and western originals, on what promises to be a fantastic night for all involved. Don’t miss it!A new performance
Gain an insight into the similarities and differences of those who live under the label of “disabled” by attending Mine to Have, the new play that’ll be taking place at the Globe Theatre from June 20 - 23. The play says it’ll be about “love, pain, and patience,” which shows the weight that the performance will carry.Begin Canada Day in style
Canada Day will be taking place on July 1, and you’ll surely find plenty of fun ways to celebrate! Get your day started in the right way by taking part in the Regina Canada Day Fun Run and Walk, which will be taking place at Wascana Park from 8am.There’s only one place to stay during a trip to the city: the best hotel in Regina! At the Days Inn Regina, you’ll have access to a wide range of amenities to make your stay extra comfortable, including an indoor pool and water slide, a complimentary daybreak breakfast, and free wi-fi.
