Hotel Blog

Check out our hotel blog at Days Inn Regina for the most up to date hotel news and to find out what’s happening in Regina.

How much diverse fun can you have when you’re visiting Regina? Well, let’s take a look. If you’re visiting towards the end of May and into June, then you’ll be able to do such things as: travel back to the glory musical heydays of the eighties, get an insight into the local, diverse Regina cultures, see some big trucks driving around, and buy local goods from the best craftspeople. That’s pretty good, right? Let’s take a look at the details.

Journey back to a classic

You can’t travel back in time to see Queen when they were at the top of their game, but you can do the next best thing: see the ‘It’s A Kinda Magic’ show at the Casino Regina Show Lounge on May 31st. You’ll hear twenty of the band’s biggest hits, and if you didn’t know any better, you might just think it really was 1986!

Multicultural Regina

It’ll be three days of cultural fun from May 31 - June 2. Now in its 51st year, Mosaic: A Festival of Cultures celebrates the different cultures of Regina through music, food, and dance.

Big, bad monster trucks

Get the adrenaline pumping at the Monster Spectacular on June 2, which will be taking place at the Brandt Centre. As always, you can expect big trucks, flying motorcycles, and a whole bunch of awesome tricks.

Local goods

Don’t leave Regina without taking home a souvenir! At the Bazaart 2018, there’ll be more than 150 artisans offering their goods to the public. Takes place at the MacKenzie Art Gallery on June 16.

After a day of exploring, unwind at the best hotel in Regina. The Days Inn Regina offers a range of accommodation types, so you can stay in the one that’s perfect for your needs, whether that’s a classic two queen room, fireplace suite, or family suite.
