Polar Plunge 2020

Nothing compares to a polar plunge. On Feb. 25 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., individuals and teams are invited to get dressed up in costumes, jump into chilly waters, then celebrate their bravery with a soak in the hot tubs. Special Olympics Saskatchewan hosts this popular event for anyone brave enough to test their limits. Online registration is encouraged but they will also be offering on-site registration before the event. Regina Farmers’ Market 

If you’re looking to bring back a tasty souvenir from Saskatchewan, look no further than the Regina Farmers’ Market. Every Saturday (until April 25) head over to the indoor farmers’ market at Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre for a wide selection of local treats and baked goods. Support the local businesses that are growing, designing, making their own products - gifts that are just as unique as your trip! The indoor market opens at 9 a.m. and you can find more information about the vendors participating online. 

Wascana Music Video Skate Night

Grab some friends and family and celebrate the leap year with a fun-filled night of skating! The Wascana Centre Outdoor Rink is putting on a music video skate night from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.on Feb. 29, 2020. Bundle up, watch music videos, and enjoy an outdoor patio that will be serving hot (and cool) beverages alongside tasty treats! This event will be rescheduled if the weather is forecasted to be below -25 C, so keep an eye on the Facebook event page to make sure it’s still happening.
